Long Description
Carbon steel coil is manufactured by hot rolling steel slabs above recrystallization temperatures or by cold rolling at room temperature for tighter tolerances. Hot rolled coils feature a characteristic mill scale and are used in structural applications where surface finish is secondary to mechanical properties. Cold rolled coils undergo further processing, including annealing, to achieve superior surface quality, dimensional accuracy, and enhanced strength for precision manufacturing. Standard grades are low-carbon steels, providing an optimal balance of weldability, ductility, and machinability. Optional surface treatments include pickling and oiling (HRPO), hot-dip galvanizing, and pre-painted finishes for corrosion resistance. Coils are packaged with protective wrapping and secured on skids for safe international transport. Full material traceability is provided via mill test certificates compliant with international standards including ASTM, EN, and JIS.
Key Product Highlights
This product is available in both hot rolled and cold rolled conditions to suit different mechanical and surface finish requirements.
Standard low-carbon steel grades ensure good weldability and formability for fabrication and stamping processes.
Optional corrosion protection coatings such as zinc (galvanized) or paint systems (PPGI) are available.
Material properties and dimensions conform to internationally recognized ASTM, EN, JIS, and GB standards.
Coils are securely packaged on steel or wooden skids with protective wrapping for ocean freight.
Custom processing services, including slitting to specific widths, can be provided upon request.
Product Advantages
Batch consistency and full material traceability are ensured through mill test certificates.
Flexible order quantities accommodate both large project volumes and distributor stocking needs.
Technical documentation supports specification compliance and streamlined import procedures.
Reliable lead times are maintained through integrated production and logistics planning.
The product serves as a versatile base material for further processing like cutting, stamping, or roll-forming.
Industry Application
This material is processed via stamping, roll-forming, or cutting into components for structural frames, automotive chassis parts, machinery housings, electrical enclosures, and profiled roofing and cladding.

Packaging & Surface Treatment
Coils are horizontally mounted on steel or wooden skids, wrapped in waterproof and tear-resistant paper, and secured with steel strapping. Standard surface conditions include hot rolled with mill scale, pickled and oiled (HRPO), cold rolled bright finish, and hot-dip galvanized with zinc coating weights from 60 to 275 g/m². Pre-painted finishes in standard colors (PVDF, polyester) are available as an option.
